Ive been doing zip ties with nearly any tool you can imagine... good ol' hands, pliers, teeth, whatever then cutting them off with whichever tool I had around from pocket knife to scissors to (if I were lucky) cutters. But this tool, is a real treat. Does exactly what you need and does it everytime with a satisfying pop. Its really the type of tool that you dont need, but once you have it, you need more of them because the only pair you bought is left at home. I did my research and while a nice paladin would probably be better, from the pics, this thing looked like 80% of the way there at less than a third the price. So I gave it a shot and it does work great. Super easy to use too, just zip tie like you normally would, then insert into the tip and pull the trigger a few times. Done. Now that I bought one, Im thinking of buying a few more for each of my tool kits.Bottom line is, if youre looking at this page, you probably are on the fence of buying one already, so let me just say to go for it.
