Good value and a lot stronger than plastic/nylon cable ties. These ties are removable (without cutting) if needed. Just just insert the tail of another tie into the clasp - same direction as the original tail - and move the steel locking ball up the locking ramp (you may have to help by easing tension if the tie is very tightly locked).Also note that these ties are CONDUCTIVE, so if tie wears through the wire insulation, you will have a SHORT CIRCUIT and possibly a fire if the circuit is not fused. If you do use this in the engine compartment, I recommend wrapping the wire bundle in TESA harness tape (or similar) to reduce the chance of the tie cutting into the wire bundle.
